Polyurethane sandwich cold-room panel
Insulated polyurethane sandwich panels for efficient cold-room enclosures.
Discuss this product ↗Product overview
Polyurethane sandwich cold-room panels combine a thermally insulating polyurethane core with color-coated steel facings. They reduce heat transfer caused by temperature differences and support efficient chilled and frozen storage. Available in multiple types and sizes for different projects, the panels are suitable for low-temperature stores, controlled-atmosphere stores, higher-temperature stores and large logistics warehouses. The source states that tested technical indicators meet relevant national standards.

| Polyurethane panel thickness / mm | Room temperature / °C | Panel weight / kg/m² | Suitable environments |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 8-12 | 10.5 | Loading dock ceiling panels |
| 75 | 8-12 | 11.5 | Processing room ceiling panels |
| 100 | 0-4 | 12 | Fresh storage |
| 150 | -18 | 13 | Frozen storage |
| 200 | -35 | 15 | Blast-freezing room |
Construction details
1. Facings can be plastic-coated color steel, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy or stainless steel. Pressure-injected polyurethane bonds the metal skins and insulating core in one foaming process to improve panel strength and rigidity.
2. Panel joints:
1) Standard cold-room panels use tongue-and-groove joints with eccentric cam locks; sealing material closes the joint gaps.
2) Controlled-atmosphere stores use a flat construction with profiled metal connections and polyurethane filling.
The geometric joint design combines flexible and rigid labyrinth seals to provide a high level of airtightness for cold rooms and low-temperature structures, and can also be used in clean and ultra-clean rooms.
